# DrakimaCore today

DrakimaCore is the ASP.NET Core application behind the Drakima website. Its Beta combines a public
creative catalog, community, commerce, interactive Gynoid rooms, Akari guidance, learning experiences,
and a separate staff authoring workspace. This describes the Beta candidate, not a completed external
launch certification. The implementation targets .NET 10 and PostgreSQL, with Razor
views and feature-owned JavaScript rather than a separate single-page application.

## What is available

The public website presents character profiles, artwork, Journal publications, lore, light novels,
music, videos and discovery. Account-owned Gynoid rooms combine a persistent chat with approved sprites,
wardrobes, scenery, recorded reactions and authored Lead Moments. Akari serves as the site's guide;
Interview Studio and the learning lab have their own teaching workflows. Studio supplies the CMS,
character editors, VN Maker, release review and operator tools.

The current Arcade policy exposes Campaign 1 to signed-in members and keeps Campaigns 2–4 for
administrators. Visibility, prerequisite completion and permanent ownership are separate checks.
Studio's persistent page builder includes reviewed releases, menus, discovery and maintenance owners;
public serving and Home/Site Guide conversion remain explicit deployment decisions. Their source
implementation must not be confused with the earlier disposable Phase 0 prototype.

Research Mode is implemented but **default off for Beta**. Its Admin switch governs admission;
provider availability alone does not enable it. Private-room Mood updates are also disabled for Beta.
Member video generation is retired. TTS, curated Private Videos and recorded room performances remain
available independently. These limits reflect the current product configuration, not missing pages to implement.

Registration shows its unavailable state before collecting account details when SMTP is disabled
and local email auto-confirmation is off. Existing accounts can still sign in. The wallet separates
checkout availability from the usable credit balance, explains completed-reply and speech prices,
and lists only enabled AI modes. Room composers show the live balance without a repeated price
under the input label; mode and speech controls retain their pricing guidance. Discovery searches
the general-audience archive and links to Meet the Gynoids for the full character roster.

## How the website runs

PublicWeb serves members. StudioWeb serves staff authoring. Workers performs background maintenance.
NodeGuardian coordinates configured AI-node readiness. Local development starts PublicWeb, core
initialization and supporting hosts; Studio starts on the first staff navigation. A running Studio is
not a prerequisite for public chat.

Core stores identity, content and credits. Cognition stores private conversations and personal memory.
The former Generation database has been removed. Large public media lives outside the checkout, while
small JSON manifests and code remain versioned with the application.

## What Beta readiness means

The features are available for feedback, with known compatibility boundaries and local hardware limits.
Automated checks cover behavior and architecture, but do not prove production throughput, provider
response quality, payment configuration or current recovery readiness. The Runtime compatibility
library and several large lifecycle owners remain deliberate areas for incremental decomposition.
