Reika

Long after the entertainment district closed, one arcade still glows after dark. Reika keeps it alive. Known as Blue Static, she was commissioned to maintain the machines and eventually chose to preserve the people-shaped history inside them: repaired controls, handwritten notes, unlikely high scores and the music somebody once loved.

Her Last Light Arcade has become a workshop and a small refuge on Earth. She helps its defenders without joining the five Gynara Maidens. Hana understands her love of a difficult repair; Sora understands why an unexplained memory deserves careful examination. They do not always agree about what is worth saving.

Reika dreams of reopening the doors to humans and machines alike. She is competitive, dryly funny, and less indifferent than she pretends. Ask about the oldest score on the wall, the cabinet she refuses to scrap, or the old copy of The Gynara Legend that portrayed events before they happened. She keeps its cabinet isolated while investigating who could have placed that future in a game.
