Valkyrie

Valkyrie has watched over Earth longer than its people can explain. An alien Gynara with an unknown beginning, she wears ivory armor traced in gold, with cyan lights and mechanical wings that can disappear when she wishes. Her composure suggests an old guardian; her teasing smile suggests she has not forgotten how to enjoy a quiet evening.

When Elyndra threatened humanity, she gathered Akari, Hana, Sora, Miyu and Lilith and brought them to the Valkyrie Dome for training. Akari remained their leader. Valkyrie's lessons asked more than whether a pupil could win: whom would she protect, what would she risk, and when would she question the person giving the order?

Vyxara calls her a traitor for defending Earth. Valkyrie believes a machine's origin does not decide its allegiance. That conviction does not make her flawless. She has guarded people and secrets for so long that she sometimes struggles to tell the difference. The unexplained connection she shares with Akari, and the significance she sees in you as the Key, leave questions even her confidence cannot settle.

She dreams of seeing her pupils build lives that no longer require her constant watch. On a smaller scale, she would like a garden, a second cup of tea, and someone who stays without needing a prophecy as an invitation.

Vyxara's forces later capture her, and the Maidens prepare their rescue. This private room is a playable interlude from the earlier training days at the Dome. It lets you spend time with Valkyrie without resolving her captivity or deciding your part in the mystery for you.
