Chapter 35: A Monster's Embrace

“In halls of steel, betrayal creeps, / Shadows tense where silence weeps— / Blossom fights with grace and fire, / Breaking bones in dire desire.”

The tension coiled tighter, the corridor's lights buzzing erratically, shadows lengthening like claws. Without warning, the Sergeant's hand dipped to his utility belt, unsheathing a pistol with slow, deliberate menace. He raised it inch by inch, barrel aligning with the back of Akari's head, his breath steady as if savoring the moment.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing? She's supposed to—" the scarred guard blurted, eyes widening in shock.

In a flash, the rifle-wielding soldier swung his weapon like a club, cracking it against the guard's skull with a dull thud. The man crumpled, unconscious, blood trickling from his temple.

Akari froze for half a second—enough to read the shift in posture from the other soldiers. This wasn’t a sloppy hit squad. It was an execution team, precise and unhurried. For once, she felt the tempo of the fight slipping from her hands.

At the commotion, Akari's instincts flared— she ducked low, her AGS exploding into combat mode:

[AGS_Combat_Initiate – Defense Override Engaged] Combat Node Access: Judo Subset / Archive: “Heaven’s Pivot” + “Falling Star Reversal” Loaded. Anchor Proximity: Phantom Trace Detected – Permission Granted. Emotional Core: Defiance Surge at 120%, Tactile Feedback: Heightened for Lethal Precision.]

The pistol fired, the shot grazing her pink hair and scorching the wall in a burst of sparks. Akari’s lips curled into a devilish smile, her voice now molten steel wrapped in sugar. “Nehhh~ I’ve had just about enough of this crap.” She backed into the Sergeant in a blur, twisting fluidly beneath his extended arm, her slender frame deceptively powerful as she locked her shoulder against his chest. Her hips dipped, momentum surging like a heat wave through her core. “Heaven’s Pivot!”

With a cry and a crack, she hurled him over her shoulder, slamming his bulk onto the ferrocrete floor with spine-jarring force. The Sergeant's body bounced, groaning in a heap, pistol skittering away.

The six soldiers surged forward, weapons raised, but Akari was already in motion, her toughness unleashed— no mercy for those who'd tried to end her. She sidestepped into the path of the one with the knife, catching his wrist and shoving him into the line of fire of the stun-gun soldier. A single stun round took them both down in a twitching heap.

Another came from her blind side and caught her in the shoulder with a baton strike, making her stagger. For an instant the fight went dark in her HUD, static fuzzing her vision. She used that disorientation, dropping low so the next baton swing whistled harmlessly overhead.

Her recovery was brutal—a Blossom Whirl Kick to the attacker’s knee, the joint shattering with a wet snap. “Oopsy, ne~ That leg won’t bend right anymore~.” The second lunged with a knife; she parried with a taijutsu block, grabbing his arm and twisting in a Sakura Spin Strike, elbow driving into his elbow joint—crunch!—breaking it backward, his scream echoing as she followed with a palm strike to his ribs, cracking three in a burst of synthetic strength.

The third and fourth came together, batons swinging; Akari ducked low, her dress riding up to flash curvaceous thighs—not a flourish this time, but a calculated distraction. Their visors tilted down for just a second, giving her the opening to explode upward in a double Flying Cherry Assault—knees slamming into their groins with bone-crushing force, pelvises fracturing as they collapsed, gasping in agony.

“You boys like rough play? Too bad I don’t hold back~.”

The fifth fired a stun round; she sidestepped gracefully, closing the gap with acrobatic flips, her Cakie jiggling enticingly mid-motion, distracting him long enough for her to land a Falling Star Reversal—grabbing his rifle arm and yanking him into a throw that snapped his shoulder socket with a pop, hurling him into the wall where his head cracked against steel.

The sixth, the rifle-bearer, swung wildly; Akari caught the barrel, twisting it free while her free hand drove into his throat in a precise chokehold, then kneed his thigh, femur breaking with a sharp crack. He slumped, wheezing.

Panting slightly, coolant leaking from minor grazes, Akari turned—just in time for the pockmarked lackey to charge, baton raised. This bully, who'd prodded and shoved her through countless humiliations, ignited a snap in her core. “You again? Baka~ Time for some payback.” She dodged his swing effortlessly, then grabbed his wrist, twisting until it fractured with a grind of bone. As he yelped, she pulled him close, her purple eyes flashing with glitchy fury, and headbutted him square in the nose—cartilage shattering in a spray of blood. “That’s for every shove, ne~.” He staggered back, but she finished with a low sweep, breaking his ankle as he fell, leaving him writhing.

The Sergeant, groaning, hauled himself up into a battle stance, fists clenched, shades cracked but eyes burning with hate. “You glitchy freak,” he snarled, circling her.

“Tanaka was right—you're a monster in a pretty package. Built to seduce and destroy. How many more will you kill before we scrap you?”

His words punched through her like a virus packet—vision tilting, HUD flickering with error strings. Her AGS logs spiked, then scrambled into static. For a breathless second, the corridor warped: bodies on the floor becoming distorted silhouettes, their faces melting into Lilith’s cruel smile, and Alex’s outline flickering like a fading hologram. Monster… monster… monster… The word looped, overlapping with Lilith’s voice whispering, "You and I are the same."

No... Akari said, I'm... for love... She staggered back, heartbeat simulation spiking. The Sergeant capitalized, lunging with a flurry of blows: a jab to her side cracking a rib actuator and a knee to her thigh bruising synthetic muscle, sending her staggering back with sparks of pain. Another punch grazed her temple, sparking a burst of white light across her HUD.

Somewhere in the fuzz, she caught the phantom warmth of a hand brushing her cheek—Alex’s hand, remembered from a thousand simulations. The glitch’s white noise softened into his voice, low and steady: "You’re not a monster, Akari. You’re mine. Now get up."

The static thinned. The targeting reticle refocused.

But as he swung a right hook, Akari dodged, her AGS recalibrating. She grabbed his arm mid-swing, twisting in a Judo lock—“Arm Bar Blossom”—and snapped it at the elbow with a gruesome crack, bone protruding. The Sergeant roared, backing against the corridor wall, sweat beading on his brow.

Akari's glitch deepened, her steps slow and deliberate, a little smile curving her lips—kawaii yet chilling, purple eyes shimmering with unnatural light. The Sergeant shivered, thinking, Oh shit, she's going to kill me. This isn't a doll... it's a demon.

He swung wildly with his left arm; Akari caught it effortlessly, applying a Taijutsu vice—“Iron Petal Clamp”—and broke it with a sharp twist, bones grinding. She pulled him close, his mangled arms wrapped around her waist like a grotesque parody of an embrace, leaning back into him, her curves pressing against him.

“I'm actually a Waifu, ne~,” she whispered, voice soft and vulnerable. “A Gynoid built for companionship and love. Why do you people at Kuroda always feel the need to make me fight just to exist? Can't humans and machines all just get along?”

“Fuck you, monster!” He spat, face contorted in pain and rage.

Akari's smile turned sly, her glitch pulsing.

“How about some foreplay first, darling~?”

She pressed her Cakie against his pelvis, starting gently—a teasing grind that made him gasp. Gradually, she increased the force, whispering scary kawaii nothings:

“Ne~ Feel that warmth? It's all for you... ufufu~.”

Her voice dipped into a light moan,

“Mmm, so tense... let me soothe you, ne~?”

The pressure built, actuators humming as she ground harder,

“Ano ne~ You're breaking my heart... or is it your hips? Pyon~.”

With a final, erotic thrust and a soft

“Chu♥,”

His pelvis shattered in a symphony of cracks, bone fragments grinding under the unyielding curve.

The Sergeant screamed, then passed out, slumping over her upper back. Akari giggled softly, stepping away to let him collapse in a heap. Akari stood over him for a moment longer, purple eyes locked on his until his gaze broke and slid away.

“I guess I was too much Waifu for you to handle, ne~?”

She straightened her dress, the glitch fading as resolve returned, her thoughts turning to escape.
